HELP! I have been having trouble with my Canon ip3000. I replaced the black cartridge because it was running low. All of the sudden all it will print is turquoise and lime green. I contacted kopykake and he told me that I was using the wrong cartridges so I ordered new ones and expressed shipped them. I put the new ones in this a.m. and it still prints the same two colors only. I did a deep clean and a nozzle check. The pattern comes out with greens, blues and a little yellow.

Can anyone help??? I have a cake to get out today and KK circuits are busy!!!!!!!!! icon_cry.gif

ohhhhhh ~ sorry I can't help. That's the printer I have but I haven't had to change cartridges yet. Have you tried turning it completely off and back on to see if it resets itself? Let us know how it turns out.

Good Luck!

Under the Articles tab at the top of the page, there are articles there about some really cool topics, one being edible images & problems with the printers. It is also on the home page towards the bottom left hand under "new articles." Chapter 3 written by Lisa.

thanks everyone anyway. I went to the Canon website and it told me how to do a cleaning and nozzle check from the printer and not from my computer. It obviously reset itself or something but I was finally able to print what I needed.

I have not had a problem one with my Canon IP3000. It does a really good job as long as I print something at least once a week to keep the nozzles from drying up. It was very inexpensive too.

Good Luck
