I made an armadillo drinking a beer. Yikes.
Anyway, it wasn't that hard. I made the head using a large plastic easter egg. I covered it with gumpaste and molded it into the right shape. Then I covered it with gray fondant. For the body I think I used a football pan (animal was on its back) and also covered that in fondant in strips imprinted with "scales."

rounds cut in half and then stacked together with the flat edges of the circles on the bottom - just make diferent sizes or shape it as needed - goodluck
