Hey guys. Just a quick question. I have a 3 tier cake to do for Friday for my brother's wedding ( the first of this size for me). I make the 14" layer, the 10" layer and the 6" layer on Sunday. I need to do some frosting and decorating starting Thursday. I put the cake, wrapped in plastic wrap, in the freezer after letting them cool off. The question is, do I need to unthaw the cakes before I start frosting them, or do I start with them right out of the freezer? BIG difference. HELP!

Yes, let them thaw. If the cake is still frozen when you ice it, the icing can fall off-at the worst possible moments.
