I've read people paint on piping gel then apply the sprinkles to the fondant. Is there anything else that would work instead of piping gel? Water, extract? Just trying to avoid a trip to the store, since I don't have any piping gel. icon_wink.gif

I would want to test it on some spare fondant to be sure the sprinkles won't melt. Water, very little, or even cornsyrup thinned with water should work.

You just want to avoid a surface wet enough to melt the sprinkles.

Hmm. Thanks. I'll be playing tomorrow so we'll see.
