I know that this has been posted before but I can't seem to find it. I would like to know how much to charge for . And nomaly how many cookies are in the different sizes?
Like cakes, the answer to this question depends on:
1. The type of recipe you used.
-The more ingredients and the more premium ingredients the more you charge.
2. Size and number of cookies.
- The larger the cookies and higher the number of cookies in the bouquet the more you need to charge.
3. The complexity of the cookie design.
- The more complex the design the more money you charge per cookie. For instance if I drizzle chocolate over a cookie and hand paint another cookie using icing then I charge more for the handpainted cookies.
4. Packaging.

7. Market conditions.
- This factor is probably the most important one. What people in your area would pay for a cookie bouquet is very important. The reason being if you live in a small town and you charge New York City prices chances are you won't be very successful no matter how great your cookies are.
Having said all of that, figure out how much you spent to make the cookie bouquet add your mark up then add on the money for your time.
Cake Princess had an excellent response! Most of my cookie bouquets have been given as gifts, so I can't help a whole lot with price. But the number you put in each bouquet will be determined by the size of the container and the size of the cookie. Many would recommend an odd number of cookies, but I've found that 6 works great, too. (Three in the back row, 2 in the middle row, and one in front). Good luck!
Ok, I've got 7 cookies, NFSC recipe, MMF decorations. All are 3 inch cookies each wrapped in their own bag. The container was like $2. I need to have a price on this by sat. I was thinking of making 7 cookies and 5 cookies for 2 different sized bouquets for in the future.
I charge $30.00 for a bouquet with 7 cookies, and $24.00 with 5 cookies in it. I have had no problem selling them at this price. I might even go up a tad.
