Hi there...
this may be a dumb and obvious question but as a new MMF user I don't know the answer.
when making the MMF recipe, do I mix the marshmallow and 2TBS of water together in the double boiler? icon_redface.gif
Please help a new MMF maker/user. I hope to make my daughter a b-day cake this week.
Thanks!

Welcome to Cake Central. For MMF, I normally melt the marshmallows in a the microwave with the water (and color if you color the whole batch)

Be sure to hold back some of the powdered sugar. the batch probably wn't need all the sugar. If you add it all, the fondant will be too dry and very unmanageble.

Hi and Welcome, bbbaker. icon_smile.gif

Yep just like your said, or you can put the marshmellows and the water in a large pyrex measuring cup or bowl and nuke 'em:

Here's the recipe:
