Someone wants a cake like this one by tripletmom and I was wondering how much I should charge? it will be a 9x13 with the sports ball halves for the boobies.... MMF for the skin too.. I am just wondering because I always undercharge for these things.

I think tripletmom is in Canada ( I could be wrong but I think she is,hhhhmmm now I'll have to check and see!) so her pricing could be very different from Texas prices but there are lots and lots of bakeries in your area. Check out pricing in your area and depending on your skill level, use that to set prices in addition to looking at your costs, etc.

That is equal to 2 or 3 cake mixes, plus fondant ...

Does $60-$75 sound reasonable?? That's the price range that came to mind right away. However....I've never done a cake like that and don't know how much work goes into it.

i think someone on here said they start with a base of $12.00 per mix then add in for extras. so if it's 3 mixes your base is going to be 36.00, plus the added cost for fondant, sculpting etc. or add up the cost of everything and times it by at least 3 since it's higher on the skill level.

Looks like $3 per serving would be fair...
