Would black, gray and white CT's look okay with a cake covered in gold LD? Would another color be better?

Thanks CC

black and white would look good. I am not sure about gray, I think that might look better with silver, but then again I could be way off base...

The black and White would be okay, but not gray, imho.

what is the cake theme? That would help for ideas.

Well, I am going to be doing some black and white photographs in CT, the colors will be black and white, but will have to have some shading of gray.

Does that make sense? It is for an anniversery cake.

How about siennas and sepia tones ? Kind of like the old fashion photo tones...even before the black & white photos they use to have the cameras on that stand and the photographer had his head under cover with the camera. The brown tones might be nice w/gold luster dust.. karen

Ok - first of all you can make CTs using photographs?!?! You must be much better than I am (be sure to post pics when you get this cake done...)

This cake is for a golden anniversary? In photos I think the grey is a must - so yes it will look great. The sepia would be pretty too - the photos would look the same, just brown tones instead of black and grey. I wish you the best of luck!!

I agree - sepia tones will work very well with gold, much better than grey.
