how much do you pay?

I have a cake due Saturday and I thought an edible image would be nice so I called around to the local bakeries. The lowest price quoted was $5 from Walmart. The highest was $8. I thought that was a bit much. I thought $5 would be like the highest. I don't think I will pay that much. I will just do a FBCT, I guess. I was just interested to know if the prices I was quoted was normal.

sounds normal to me...I have paid $5 but I have been qouted as high as $10 (most places really want to sell the whole cake not just an image).

The cheapest I've found is $4 online, but you have to pay for shipping...

There were two places near me where I could get one and they both sold for $10 each. That's why I print my own now! My humidor cake alone took 4 images!

I know a bakery/supply store that will give you an image up to 8x 10 for $8 I guess it is high if you're going to sell the cake but I know I have that option if my kids want a cake that requires an image cause i do this as a hobby and buying a printer for these images are expensive for selling a cake I guess it is expensive
