How do I tint fondant to such deep primary colors? Does anyone have good tips. Does anyone have a favorite recipe, I have tried a few and they all seem so sticky!!

you just keep tinting until you get the desired color. if using red, i would go with no taste red. icon_lol.gif

Wilton, Satin Ice and Fondx all make pre colored fondant, they might be a little more expensive, but you don't have to worry about sticky messes. I like these as I always keep a large tub of white, and with the variety of colors they offer you can add small amounts of the colored fondant to achieve many different colors including pastels. It is a good time saver, and the flavor is still pretty good.

Ok, that makes sense.

If I do have to add a lot of paste coloring, do I need to add more sugar to keep it from being too sticky or wet?
