I actually went to lowe's , they had ads instore but there was a blank spot where the mixer must have been. At the appliances desk they were wonderful and friendly and let me pick what ever color I wanted.
I already have one of these and this will be my second... I've had my first one for 7 years and it's been wonderful and it's even traveled a bit here and there with no problems after being bumped around in the car at length.. I've been perfectly happy with it and am excited to soon have 2!
Girls, if you take your Lowe's ad to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, they will pricematch it plus you can use a 20% off coupon. Oh, and at BBB, you can get a $30 rebate from KitchenAid. That makes it about 90 bucks after all is said and done.
You should go to www.slickdeals.net if you like deals like this. Seriously. This kind of thing (price mistakes) happens way more frequently than you might think. I've gotten some incredible deals using Slickdeals techniques.
Okay, PLEASE tell me where this rebate is. The only rebate KitchenAid had was the bonus bowl or cookbook if you buy a 6 qt. so it doesn't apply. The KA website did not have a rebate so I don't know where to find what you're talking about. BUT I DID FOLLOW YOUR ADVICE AND TOOK MY LOWE'S CIRCULAR TO BB&B AND GOT MY METALLIC CHROME MIXER FOR $128.49!!! THANKS!!!

I just called my Lowe's and had no prob placing the order over the phone, she said it was originally a typo but that Lowe's is honoring it. So Lowe's everywhere should be doing the same thing. It atomatically rings up 150.00 so keep pressing they should be giving it to you for this price. I will definatly be mailing in my rebate form, I'm pretty sure they will honor that too. I got Gloss Cinnimon, does anyone have that color? I haven't seen it in person I hope it's pretty.
That's the color I ordered! I haven't gotten it yet though. I've never seen that color in person, I hope I like it too! It was soooo hard picking a color! I wanted so many!

It was a midweek ad, came in my Wednesday, July 18 paper. They still had them in my store on Monday the 23rd when I ordered mine. The ad was good until July 26th
today is only the 19th...how could it be still in the store on the 23rd of july?...im confused...when did this ad come out?

yes, on the bottom of page two is a picture of a mixer, toaster, and blender and it lists the $150 price for the mixer. I'll go back to Lowe's after my little guy's nap and pick up as many of the flyers as I can and I'd be happy to mail them to anyone who hasn't been able to order one without a flyer.

I just tried Bed Bath and Beyond and Linens and Things, and they both wouldnt let me get a mixer for $150 with the Lowes ad because since it said it was special order....they couldnt do it...Grr..
What is this I hear about a Lowes coupon? I already think Im gonna go back and order another at Lowes so I can use the mail in rebate anyways.
Go into the store.. I didn't have an ad either and they had them sitting in the store..
This is just what I did.
The advertising flyers were sitting on a display rack just inside the front door. The small appliance ad is on page 2. I went to customer service and they said no problem ordering the color I needed......but being a penny pincher I went back to work and asked if anyone had a BBB 20% coupon. (I had thrown mine away yesterday). So then I headed to the nearest BBB and they had no problem honoring the Lowe's ad I had in hand and giving the 20% off the sale price. I walked out with an ordered "Pistachio" KA that will be delivered (free of charge) to my house in 7 to 10 days. YIPPEE!!!!! And I have the $30 rebate to mail in so I will be a proud new owner of a $300 KA for $90. WhooWhoo 
BTW, this all happened after my loyal Sunbeam died last night after its last double batch of BC. RIP

I'm so sorry about the confusion...I'm simply a week ahead of myself. OOPS-the add came out in the July 11th paper and I bought mine on the 16th. THANK GOODNESS it's not next week!

Oh jeez, now you tell me after I dug through every recycle bin at my company today and came up empty-handed. Too funny! Well, I am off to the store tonight and if I can't find an ad, I will call the 800 number and order it by phone. Just hope I get an ad in the store so I can use the rebate. Wish me luck and cross your fingers.

OK, here is my KA story for today... went to lowe's and bought 3, to metallic silver and 1 black onyx (opening bakery soon)... asked the guy about colors he looked at their online and said they only had like 5 colors so I settled with the onshelf selection. Then I called BB&B and they had 2 pinks, so I rushed out there and they priced matched them, bough those... so here I am riding around town with 5 mixers... then I thought to read Lowe's add and sure enough it says special order 30 different colors so I call the manager and he says yeah come back in and we can order in color for you out of the catalog we have through them... so back to lowe's I go 5 mixers in tow.... OMG have I lost my mind, YES I SAY...... Get there and order Surf Green and EVEN brushed nickel at $150 yes, you read it right, brushed nickle! I intend to return 3 of them, just can't decide which ones yes... gotta put them all out in front of me and decide... the pinkies will go in Sugarbakerz... 1 will be a gift... and the rest well, you know I will figure out that out.... so the moral to the story is..... don't ask the people up front and don't call... go straight to the appliance department... sit down and look at their small appliance catalog.. turn to the page with the 5 qt artisan on it... find your color (but look on KA.com 1st and get your model number, bc they list them on their computer by model number and not color, so it will save you time especially after hours) approach them sales person and tell them what you want to special order, they will punch it in their computer.... take your name and number... tell you go to the front and give the cashier your number who will then ring you up... easy as that, no flyer needed, VOILA! Good luck and please don't turn into a mixer hog like me!
OHHH I really need the flyer!!!!!!!! Because since I live in a military base, with the flyer I can get the price match at the military store and I don't even have to pay tax!!!

I went to our neighborhood Lowe's this afternoon to buy one of the Artisan mixers. I picked up five ads on the way out. If you think they would make it to you before the sale ends, I would be happy to send you one.
I forgot to say a great big thank you to everyone who posted about this great deal! I have been watching these mixers for a few months, but I completely missed this ad. As soon as I read about it on here, my hubby and I rushed out to find one.
The store had several of the metallic chrome models, so we quickly grabbed one and made our way to the check-out area. We had to wait a few minutes to get the sale price approved, but we were able to get it! I am so excited!
Can someone tell me how to find out which colors are given rebates through Lowe's? It says item number 148386, 51758, and 184335 . I can't find these numbers online anywhere. I have a friend on her way to Lowe's right now and she wants to know which colors are covered by the rebate!!!
Also, Bed Bath and Beyond in my area is catching on - my friend got rejected there so if you are going to try and get it there, I recommend doing it before a mass company email goes out forbidding it!
I bought a metallic chrome, and its model number is 148386.
I called and got the answer - Lowe's rebate only covers Metallic chrome, red, or black onyx. BB & B's rebate did not specify colors.
Thanks for letting me know! My friend wanted cobalt blue so she's not going to be able to use the rebate. But still, $150 for the mixer is still AMAZING!
I got 'em! Got Metallic chrome in the store for a friend and ordered colbalt blue through the store. BB&B honored the ad, the 20% off coupon (expired) and will be mailing in the $30 rebate. I can't believe I got one mixer for $97 and another for $109 (shipping). Crazzzy Cool!
Wow.. I just got one! My DH called over to the local Lowe's and ordered it over the phone. It's the metallic brushed nickle one too!! That is just toooooooooooo cool!! I am stoked! We just called.. asked for the sm. appliances department and said we saw in the flyer that they had the 325 watt, 5QT, 10 speed Artisan featured for 150$ and that was that.. they asked what color and we gave him the model # and he said cool it's 150$ and it'll be here in 7-10 days and they will call when it's here. WOO HOO!!! I am totally psyched!! Doing a MAJOR happy dance. My old faithful Betty (my white KA) just bit the dust.. so this comes at a wonderful time. Thanks so much for this thread!!! I love this place!! I would have never known about it otherwise. You guys ROCK!!!
