I'm just wondering if I'm in the right ballpark. What should I charge for a 10" & 6" stacked cake iced & filled with bc with fondant stripes and dots? Is $35 ok?

I think that is way too cheap, but it does depend on where you are. I would charge a minimum of $1 a serving as a starting point.

According to the serving chart I use, that's 38 servings, and I wouldn't charge any less than $2/serving - so $76. I would guess your expenses for a cake like that would be at least $20?

My rate is $2.50/serving so mine would be even higher than $76.

I would charge $100.

Your costs are $20. So now your profit is only $15... if it takes you 3 - 4 hours, you are making way less than minimum wage.

If you want to go by the cost of your supplies x 3 then you shouldn't charge less than $60.
