Old Yellowed Cake Columns/pillars - Make New Again
Decorating By neicey1971 Updated 13 Jul 2007 , 12:29am by indydebi
I recently purchased a retired cake lady's inventory. Now I have a bunch of cake column/pillars that are about 20 years old and very yellow. What can I do to make them look new again? Bleach did not work.
Thanks,
Denise
Leave them out in the sun for a few days, turning them over from time to time. I haven't had to do this for a while, but it did work for me. ![]()
I am interested in the resolution of this issue too! I have recently made a purchase of some plates and pillars that are yellowed. Any suggestions?

If it ever stops raining, I will try this. Thanks so much.
