A few years ago, I bought a huge box of well-loved cake plates from an old bakery auction... at the time it was a good deal... but from sitting, the plates have all yellowed, and it's kinda grody looking!!

Do you have any methods for making them white again? I tried bleach and sunshine, that didn't work.....

For us old timers, who are not of the text-messaging generation, what does "HDI" mean?

When you can, please let us know which method(s) you tried and what, if any, worked. Thanks.

I checked out the threads Doug posted and did not see the method I use to get stains off of white plastic and stoneware/china coffee cups. Baking soda cleans the glass coffee pot sparking clean as well. I wet the item and sprinkle on a good amount of baking soda, then rub, stains just melt away. Won't hurt to try this method and its cheap. thumbs_up.gif Good luck.

Thanks, hellieOh. I've heard of this method in the past, but never tried it.
