source two: http://www.taylorfoam.com/taylorfoam_com/cakedummies/

cover them very tightly in saran wrap. ice away.
when ready to change...peel off wrap and the icing.

Also - how do you cover square dummies with fondant without the corners ripping holes in it?

As for covering square dummies in fondant ........I have the hardest time. It ALWAYS rips!!! I have to moisten the edges to mend it back together! AARRRGGGGGG icon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gif

Hopefully someone will see this and give a tip or two.....or three

Heck I've never even covered a square REGULAR cake in fondant. I've read tons of helpful suggestions and I just can't imagine where all that extra fondant goes. I have a wedding cake in October that is going to be a 12" square and a 6" square with a 10" round in the middle, covered in fondant and I was thinking about getting a dummy to practice on but if it's going to rip, I think I'll just use a shoe box or inverted rubbermaid container or something, to practice on...those corners aren't as harsh.
