Please help! icon_confused.gif I tried the cake balls, but I don't know how to dip them so they look neat and pretty. Anybody got any advice on how to dip them?

Thanks!
Jennifer

purchasing a variation of one of these tools would help:

dipping tools (for ref. only -- not suggesting to buy them there)

Michaels, A.C. Moore, and Hobby Lobby all sell dipping sets. I know AC Moore has a 50% off coupon for this weekend and Michaels may have one too, so..... this might be weekend to buy.

I did mine by sticking a tooth pick into it, dipping in the chocolate, then dropping the toothpick side donw on an elevated cooling rack. Then pull the toothpick out of the bottom.

I would use something like what you get to dip easter eggs in - just what I would do if/when i try them

I take a plastic fork and break off the two middle prongs and use that as my dipping tool.

Yellobutterfly:
cakeballs are what you make w/ your cake scraps w/ added ingredients. Then dipped in chocolate or something else to coat them, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, etc. You can do a search in the recipe folder for "cakeballs" and it should pop up. HTH.
