Has anyone made a Gluten Free cake as a tiered cake? Personally, I have a condition which prevents me from having wheat flour (or any traditional flour). They sell gluten free cake mixes which I've made and taste pretty darn good.

I haven't tried these as a tiered cake yet and was wondering if anyone else had tired and what their experience has been. I'll be trying it later this month so I'll keep you posted on my experience

Thanks
Janet

Janet, I haven't made a gluten free tiered cake, but I have used one of those mixes for a cousin's birthday. My recollection is that the cake was very soft - I'm not sure how well it will hold up to stacking, but I would probably use alot of dowels for support. Let us know how it turns out!
