Decorating By cakesondemand Updated 4 Sep 2006 , 3:41am by cakesondemand
I had 4 wedding cake orders and 6 occasion cakes that week and everything going wrong so I asked my daughter to finish this one for me it was a dummy cake for a garden wedding on a very hot day so I did a cake to serve 90 for the kitchen and just couldn't seem to get this finished so she took over thank goodness. So proud of her she has been watching me decorate for years is know working with me. I had to take the classes she didn't lol!!!!!!!!
Holy cow! That cake is stunning ![]()
You must be SO proud of her!! ![]()
WOW! She did a wonderful job! How old is she??
Ya after that one I'm jeleous. She is 29 married with 2 children and works full time and with me. I don't know how she does it. Some day she will be taking over for me she also does decorated cookies. She is a member of CC (Cat633)
That makes me feel a tiny bit better, but only a weensy tiny bit. I thought she was still a child, if so, I think I would've given up on cakes. But with a teacher like you, no wonder she's so good. How's about winging over to China and giving me some lessons?
Fantastic job! And might I say very generous to help out with a crazy week you've had!
the directions are in Wiltons wedding cake romantic portfolio book. You use the 2" flower formers and the basket weave tip/ cover the formers with wax paper and pipe from side to side with royal icing let dry and remove from the formers press into the cake or use royal to attach if your using fondant to cover your cakes.
Hey cat633 ~ Beautiful job!
Sharon ~ You have every reason to be proud of your daughter!
