You'd think people would be organized about a wedding......I got a call from someone who started the conversation with "You'll probably laugh in my face...." She called me 6 DAYS before her wedding asking if I could make her cake! Her excuse was that they wanted a really simple (2 tiers + a sheet cake) white cake that they would decorate with fresh flowers. She had been planning to make the cake herself, but since it was her first time getting married (she actually said that!) she had no idea how time consuming planning a wedding was! I turned her down, as it was the week of my holidays and we were going away.....I don't know what she ended up doing....
