OK new here and reading forum posts I see alot of acronyms and other words. I don't always know what they are. Would anyone out there be willing to give me their acronyms or other words used and the true meanings so I won't be so lost.

For example: What is a Bump? icon_confused.gif

Thank You

I agree, I've been a CC member for a year or so and I'm still baffled by the abbreviations! I have no idea what a "bump" is either, but that must be something universal that I'm just completely out of the loop for because I saw someone write that in an email at work too....

Go to the "General" Forums and the very first topic is all of the Acronyms. I printed it out so I would have it right by my computer! If you have any problems, let me know.

In the cake decorating forum, in a post called gum paste are some links that were given when I asked those same questions! I don't know how to add the links here...but it should be pretty easy to find since it was just a day or so ago.

I think I recall that a bump is when someone posts just to make sure your topic goes back to the top of the forum list in order to generate more responses.
