How exactly do you smooth a cake with a paper towel?? I've never done it before, but would like to try it. icon_biggrin.gif

You can go to the articles section and look for the tutorial entitled "Faux fondant." It gives you step by step instructions for the viva paper towel method.

You may want to try using parchment paper instead of a paper towel.

I always use computer paper. I ice the cake let it crust alittle and lay the paper on top and smooth with my hand. Has always worked for me. Haven't tried the paper towel method. I buy genric towels and don't know if they would work or not. So I will stick with what works for me right now. Maybe you could give it a try icon_biggrin.gif Kay
