I need help, I cant find my wilton book that has the cutting guide for party cakes. Does anyone know where I can find one online?

Also, For a shower do you make the cake bigger for party cutting or would you make it the same as you would a wedding?

Thanks!

Lisa

I'd say the party guide for the shower and probably for the wedding too. The Wilton wedding guide pieces are stingy!

Another good chart is Earlene's cake chart.

I make my cakes all the same serving sizes for consistency. THey are more than welcome to cut them bigger, but if that means they need more cake, then they need to order and pay for more cake.

I am not eating the expense because they eat like Jethro Bodine and think a 4x6 piece of cake is "normal".

oh my goodness, it happens again! I am surrounded by children!! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Jethro was the nephew of Jed Clampett from the Beverly Hillbillies. The standing running gag was Jethro's appetite. You and I would eat a bowl of cereal. Jethro would eat 2 boxes of cereal.
