Being a product of the 80's, I would say an album cover of her fav 80s band, a can of Aqua net or Rave hairspray, leg warmers, or some 80s movies - One Crazy Summer, 16 candles, Breakfast Club - VHS not DVD!!!
Good luck! Can't wait to see it!
Well let's see..Madonna,Big teased hair,KISS...Lots of tacky makeup...tight jeans,Great music...
the flash dance sheatshirt, madonna's big hair/ ripper clothes/ guady jewelry, Jelly shoes, jelly bracelets, all neon colors, shoulder pads
What about something along the lines of one of those fun peplum dresses? Could do a straight top, maybe with a top of dress feel, then a layer with a balloon-ey look like those peplums, the poofy ones, then a layer with a draped skirt........ could do it in a small scale, and it would still probably be too much cake, but I think it would be fun.........
I just got one of those forwarding emails about the 80's the other day....broght back lots of memories...hypercolor tee-shirts, slap bracelets, homemade friendship bracelets, Jellie's shoes, roller skates (not inline skates), Bon Jovi's "Shot through the heart" humming it as I type, we are the world song collaboration, etc etc....I laughed all the way through the email....also had a part about the M.A.S.H game...anyone remember that!?
I LOVE the 80's!!! Ok this is what I think of with the 80's.....
Rubik's Cube
Mtv - brand new and the M stood for music
Cyndi Lauper
"Where's the beef?"
Max Headroom

Leg warmers and headbands
Jordache jeans with a flat handle comb in the back pocket (remember?)
Jelly bracelets and shoes
"Day Glo" colors
School House Rock
Boy George

Now how you put all that in a cake...I have no idea, but maybe there is something here that sparks your imagination..
Good Luck and post pictures!!
