I hate wilton. It is official.

I have a wedding to set up for in a couple hours. The bride wants a tri level cake stand, which I did not have. I went and bought one from HL and GUESS WHAT?? I took it out of the box this morning and two of the pillars are CRACKED DOWN THE SIDE!!! It is completely unstabe...there is NO way I can use it.

(HL is a hour drive BTW) What am I supposed to do?????

HELP CC!

(I posted this is the wrong forum so you may see it twice. Sorry.)

I'll make the same suggestion I made yesterday. Use boxes or containers and cover it with a pretty fabric. It makes a nice display.

Oh no! Is there anyway you can "glue the cracks together with maybe royal icing or super glue sense it won't be on the cake?

Oh and where in Oklahoma are you?

Did it crack when you used it or was it like it in the box?
I always check things before I buy it b/c I have been burned on sooooo many things that have been broken during shipping.

Any cake decor places that you could run to or borrow from someone?

What about some thick candle holders or vases in different heights?? Or a garden stand made for flower pots?

The answer above would be a creative way as well, using boxes of bowls or anything really, then covering it with a pretty fabric.
