I found a set of mini round pans on eBay. They're 2", 3", 4" and 5". Was thinking about getting them so I could do mini stacked cakes both for practice and because you don't ever see them! Wouldn't that make a fun girl's birthday cake?

Well, I am finishing up course 3 this week (I started it back in May but stopped halfway through so I'm taking the final two classes this month) and so I'm supposed to do a stacked / tiered class for Thursdays class. If I can pull it off, then I am sure I'll be bold enough to try again. I have been afraid of stacking / tiering because it just seems like a disaster waiting to happen but there's so much more you can do with it so I just need to get over it and do it! Yours is so cute and worked out so well so hopefully I will be as lucky!

Wow, it's perfect! I have the 3D cuddly bear pan but I am not brave enough to try it. I've heard horror stories of the head coming off icon_eek.gif .

You should be soooo pleased with yourself!

AMAZING!! I have a Pooh lovin' little boy in my house and I can't wait to show him! I'll be adding this to my favorites so I can attempt a tiered cake when I feel brave!

Great work...I'd pay top dollar for that cake! thumbs_up.gif

nickshalfpint:
I used tip 12 and just blobbed it around randomly to create the clouds. Did basically the same thing for the dripping honey - just a little more drip like than cloud like

LickDaBowl:
Thank you! It really wasn't as hard as I expected - just really time consuming (about 10 hrs to decorate, not counting baking time). There's also a Pooh stand up pan that's been discontinued, but you can find it on eBay pretty regularlly.

As the saying goes..'Necessity is the mother of invention', and how ingenious of you to figure out a way to make a marvelous Pooh! Everything is Tigggerific!!
