Hi everyone I'm thinking about starting up something to branch out and get more business going.

What I want to do is kind of like a workshop but like for parties. I don't wanna give too many details as I don't want everyone in the world doing it and it getting played out lol

Now my main question is where can I buy tips of the same size in big quanities? I would need at least 12 of each kind I choose to purchase but don't want to pay individually for them...

Does anyone know where I can get "bulk" tips from?? for a fair price??

Not sure how things work in the USA but is there any way you could check with a company that supplies restaurants/bakeries in your area? Check with your local bakery and ask them where they buy their tips from.

you might of had 45 views, but if no one answers that means that they probably don't know the answer.

If you have a tax ID number for your business I would suggest going through BakeryCrafts or DecoPac. They both carry supplies at the discounted price for bakeries.

I don't think you need a tax ID number to order from DecoPac as long as you are not ordering any of their licensed character items, so for tips you should be fine.

Thanks guys icon_smile.gif I really appreciate the help icon_smile.gif

I do not have a tax ID # as of yet, because currently in my current situation we don't have to have it to bake out of our homes lol... But I will try the DecoPac place and see what happens icon_smile.gif Thank you!

Checked out both sites suggested and both require Tax ID to purchase any products from their company. But I do thank you for your suggestions icon_smile.gif

Even where I work.....I don't think they get their tips for less by ordering in bulk. I know Winbeckler has the standard tips for .55 each. That is where I order mine from.

I checked out Winbeckler and they have a great deal on tips, the prices are great and shipping isn't that expensive either! I'm just having a problem finding one of the tips I need from them lol I'm looking for a number of different tips but one I want to deffinatly get if I start this project is the filling tip Bismark tip 230.... It came in the cupcake set from Wilton but I'm not paying $8.00 for each set of them lol

OhMyGoodies- I'm not sure if this is the same tip you are looking for but when I googled the tip I came up with this site. http://www.prettypartyplace.com/mp-tip-230.html

They listed the Bismark #230 as $1.99 a piece. Hope this helps.

Country Kitchens has that too: http://www.countrykitchensa.com/catalog/product.aspx?T=1&productId=1386

You also might want to call Sweet Celebrations as they have teacher packs in sets of 12 for some of the pastry decorating tips. http://www.sweetc.com/

Have you tried Ateco's website ohmy?
Or sugarcraft.com might be able to help you and then there is also Phiel & Holings site too. They all sell stuff either singly or in bulk. You might try those. And no, you don't need to have a tax id # to order from them.
