I've looked in the recipe section and nothing said anything about crusting.

What makes icing crust anyway?????

its the ratio of sugar to fat that makes a BC crust. i add cocoa powder to BC dream. you could also add melted choc chips and choc lorann oil. i just add to taste, so i start with maybe 1/2 cup, and add more little by little. you will need to add more liquid with the cocoa powder to keep it the consistency you want, maybe 1-2 tbsp more.

The chocolate buttercream dream recipe is quite good and crusts nicely.

I use the recipe on the Hershey cocoa powder box and add a little MP to it. Worked perfectly!

I use my regular crusting icing and add chocolate, either melted or cocoa powder, to it plus a little extra water.

I love and use the My Easy Chocolate Buttercream recipe here on CC. It's very fudgy and delicious and crusts very nicely!
