Thank you! Has anyone tried both Bakery Craft and Coast to compare?

Are there instructions for the sps plates and pillars. I've been using them for a couple of years now and I sure didn't know that I was suppose to be taking that ring thing off for stacked cakes. There are so many products that don't have instructions of any kind. Why is that I wonder. Thanks
