Does Anyone Else Think In Cake? Funny Story

Please tell me I'm not alone... While in WalMart, I was looking at one of those wine cooler-fridges or mini fridges I guess you would call them, and while doting on the price It occured to me that I needed to sell four 9X13 cakes to pay for it. Not, I need to save $100 out of my next paycheck, it was simply "cake" 9X13 selling....has anyone else had this experience? Perhaps I need a cake break! 
Lets see.... hmmm.. two cakes from this weekend pays for hotel room for wild weekend away.. two more cakes from this weekend makes rest of car payment... hmmm LOL. THINK CAKE !!
Here's another thought--
While on vacation at the beach, some people were making sand castles. I thought how easy it would be to make a tiered cake in the sand and use real shells for the decorations. My DH threatened me if I did it!
Too funny. I think most of us see cake in everything!
OK I just thought of what I did last year on vacation.. Vacation was to Las Vegas. One day was a side trip to the Grand Canyon. Magesty grandeur (sp) the awe of what I was seeing.. breathtaking right? I go into the gift shop.. I spot containers of candy rocks.. 
You know where I am going with this don't you??? Yep trucked home 4 of those bad boys for cakes. 
I'm already doing it in different stores, oh I could use that for a cake topper or use that for decorating. I want to go to Lowe's and get some pvc pipe for a rolling pin!
I haven't done enough cakes yet to be thinking that way exactly (just getting back into it).
BUT, I'm on the computer all day using graphic design programs and often find myself thinking that way.

"I wish I could just "clone out" a few freckles from my face.
Need to paint a room, why can't I just "fill" it with color?
Or copy and paste one wall to the next in real life!
I've started literally seeing cakes in my sleep since finding this site though!

I dream cake. Almost every dream I have has a cake in it. It's become crazy.

I always have cakes on the brain! I'm always looking for things I can use for decorating. Sometimes I'll look at a greeting card and think, Wow, that would make a great cake. I have an entire closet full of things I have picked up here and there thinking, maybe I can use that for one of my cakes some day. I am currently working on teaching myself to model with fondant, so everytime I go into a clay section, I am always looking for things I can use for the modeling. I even dream about cakes! I think I'm possessed by the cake devil! lol
It's so funny to see this post because right before I got on......My daughter came home from her grandmother's house......she said that she would buy her sneakers for school so I didn't have to worry about it......yeah for me right??? She bought her those kind that have wheels on the bottom. The first thing that came out of my mouth was....'Great.....now I have to sell another cake to buy you some decent sneakers!!'
That's exactly how it is. I never thought of the funny side of it til I read this post. Everything's cake!!!
not only do i do it, but i've got my hubby doing it. we were at a bookstore and i was debated about getting 2 books vs just one and he was like "just get both, i'm sure you'll sell that much in cakes next month" ha ha
