I don't think there is a way. Think of the tarnish showing experience ha ha icon_smile.gif

Before I scrolled down and saw your response that's what I was thinking.

Okay, stupid question - does it have to be fresh lemon juice or will bottled work just as well?

Also, I was thinking about baking powder, but I haven't tried it.

I've heard you can use either, but never tried it. Let us know how it works!

ha ha, when i first read it, i read HIPS !

ok, seriously,in addition to the lemon juice, i've also heard vinegar. i've done that before, but dont recall the outcome...i have resolved that i dont care anymore if they are shiny cause its easier for me to put em' through the dishwasher. (decorating cakes dirties so many tiny little tools and gadgets) the dishwasher and dull tips makes me happier than having them shiny, but having to scrub and fuss to keep them that way icon_smile.gif

By the way, not to sound gross, but Efferden does a decent job cleaning toilets. I used to use it (before I started with Kaboom - which is fantastic, BTW) and I'd drop three or four tablets in the toilet, either let it sit for a few hours and then use the brush, or I'd throw the tablets in right before bedtime and clean it in the morning (which isn't much fun).
