Hi everyone.

Two situations have come up recently, where I have offered to help with fund-raising for excellent causes by offering a cake for a raffle. Has anyone here figured out a good way to do this without losing your shirt? I was thinking that the most funds could be raised if I offered a coupon to be redeemed when the winner had an event. However, I don't know how to word the coupon. If I say, $200 value, then the highest possible bid might only be $200. I'm afraid that someone will win and then demand a huge wedding cake that I simply can't afford to give away. Does that make sense? Any ideas?

I have offered coupons for raffles/auctions for a specific kind of cake. Say a 'celebration cake' for x # of servings. Simple design in buttercream and put a picture of a 1/4 sheet (or whatever) well decorated as an example.
