Does anyone know if there is a software package designed just for cake decorating? I was looking for a user friendly cad-type program to aid in the design process.
There's a website called www.cakedesigncenter.com that sounds promising, but it's not up and running yet.
I have found that you can do a pretty decent design using Microsoft publisher. It takes a bit of playing around and saving of clipart eg fairys and flowers (like the design in my photo's)but once you are used to it and have some clipart you can design cakes pretty fast. It is easy to see what different colours would look like as well. I drew this design up and tried a few colour combinations out in no time at all!

Can't wait to see what this has to offer!!! Meanwhile, I'll have to play with microsoft publisher.

I've contacted them & they are aiming for it to be up and running by January 2007!

Fascination - This looks a lot like KopyKake. That's pretty cool too. I've been thinking about trying this method. I love photography and would be fun to mix the two.
Hi again,
I am in the process of upgrading my computer; once that is done, I will try this software & post my comments. In any case, it's free!
ciao
