Hi,
I always have the problem when I try to get my frosting or fondant on a bright red color. It always look pink!.
I am using the wilton colors and not any gives me the results.

Please help me find out a better brand, that I dont have to put the whole container to get the icing red.

Thank you

Jessi :O)

If you use the Wilton No-Taste red, it will take a lot of paste to get red.

Americolor colors work much better.

I agree. Americolor does give you a truer red. I think flame red does a good job. thumbs_up.gif

Try starting with a dark pink icing, then add your red, you should not have to add as much. I use ameri red-red and it works pretty good.

trying to understand this concept . . . since you have to add color to get to pink anyway, what's the difference between starting with white and adding red vs. starting with white, adding red or pink to get pink, and then adding more red to get red?
