How does eveyone get rid of the powdered sugar on the inside of their bows- mine always looks dusty. thumbsdown.gif Thanks for the suggestions!!

Welcome to Cake Central.

I roll fondant on a mat or a surface spread with a bit of shortening. That way, no dry powdery surfaces.

if i need to i'll brush it with some vodka to clear off the PS. but, when i use satin ice i rarely need to. it doesn't require being rolled in a ton of PS the way mmf needs. just a some underneath and a non stick fondant rolling pin.

I had that prob also. I agree with JoannB, I always use crisco. The powder was making everything look horrible.
