Okay, I'm a CC addict too. My husband forced me out of the closet - my cake supply closet, that is! He now wants to know when he comes home from work everyday if I've had my fill of my cake and cookie porn! LOL

My hubby takes my pics for me too! He took the artsy pic I iused for my Avatar! He has also built transport boxes for my sheet cakes! I think he is getting sucked into my cake addiction slowly but surly. I am so addicted that my 2 and 3 year olds see me sit down at the computer and start whining " no cakes mommy!" I guess they finally figured out that I get sucked into CC and can't get up for hours!

my father is an alcoholic (its ok he tells people) he has been sober now for close to 11 years. he says i have an addictive personality. i dont drink because i like the stuff too much...id rather be addicted to this.

You've found me out. I too am an addict. I had to start forcing myself to stay away from the computer until I was dressed and some form of housework was completed otherwise I was in my jammies until after 10. I now pop in as a reward for an accomplishment. I have to set the timer to remind myself when to walk away. The saddest is when the internet won't connect and I feel like I'm in some movie pacing a dark ally waiting for my dealer to come. Okay maybe my DH was right, I have a flare for the dramatic, but I definately get crabby if I don't get a fix every couple of hours.
OK OK. My hubby reminded me of the ten commandments. I am an addict. Really, saying your an addict means there is a problem. I'm not having any problems. 
I've had to set rules for myself about what tasks have to be accomplished before I can sit down at the computer. Yes, I'm an addict
I just discovered the world of Cake Central 3 days ago and I am hooked already too! I love reading the tips and looking at all the great pics. There is soooo much talent here!

Hello, my name is "karmicflower" and I too am a CC addict!! !!! In my house its a fight for the pc between my husband and I. My husband is in IT and well he's always on the pc, both at work and at home (he's a general pc addict) and lately, after we've put the girls to bed and wonder back into the family room, we look at each other and then run at the computer trying to beat the other to it 
, like we were 4 yr olds playing musical chairs .... and my daughter too whines when she see's me get on the pc, "mommy your gonna look at cakes, again!!"
I too am an addict .. in fact it is so bad that while my husband is at work and I am at home, I have to exit from msn personal messenger so he doesnt see me and know I sit on this website for hours!

It's an addiction that does not require us to go into rehab.. 
They say the FIRST step to a cure is admitting you have a problem, people!

My problems include laundry, beds, vacuuming, dusting, cooking, WORK (my Sgt. doesn't know I'm such a slacker!) and, of course those pesky family members!
It all pales in comparison to the company and artwork at CAKE CENTRAL! Pales, I say!
