I would like to start a cake business, but I don't know where to start. What kind of license does one need to do this business? How do I get one? How much should I be charging for cakes? Ahh...so many questions lol!

You need to check with the department of agriculture. depending where you are you can either have very lax rules or it will cost you a small fortune to be licensed. I will have to have a full commercial kitchen inspected by the health inpector.

It depends on where you live. some states license home-based baking, some don't.

Licensing usually requires some kind of inspection, either the county health department or the State Dept of Agriculture.
