What would you charge or pay for these favors? They are a single regular CC iced like a flower dropped in either a mini pail or a plastic champagne glass... used for showers, receptions, parties, single serving favor ideas, just wondering if you all thought this could be potentially marketable?

P.S. Forgive the PURPLE icing, it is leftovers from a CC bouquet, TIA!

$2.00 - 2.50?

Depends how cheaply you can get the pails or glasses.
I'd say $1 per cc + the cost of the recepticle (pail or glass) + the box for transport and + maybe a little extra for the additional handling of the cc. That would probably put you in the neighborhood of $2 - $2.50 each like sweetbaker said.

that was my thought too... the pails and glasses are pretty cheap and cc's are pretty cheap, thanks for the input!

I just had to say that I love the little bucket idea!! We decorated the church pews for our wedding with silver buckets and purple hydrangeas hanging by a ribbon on the pews. It was sooo nice that when I saw the photographer had taken a really nice pic of them, I paid $15 for a copy!

Do you have anything underneath the cupcake in the bucket or does it just fit and stay by itself?

it just dropped right in there.. the buckets are so tiny and cute, I saw them and was in love.... I knew instantly they would be perfect favors and weddings and showers... I hope they go over well cause I bought a case of them icon_smile.gif

They look beautiful and would make great favors. My only question (and this may sound silly ) is how do you get the cupcake out to eat it without getting the icing all over (or would the icing set so you could just "dump" it out gently)?

I agree - it depends on the cost of the buckets and glasses.
How big are the buckets? i think the idea is pretty good...just concerned about the cost. I know wilton has some mini (itty-bity) buckets they sell at michaels in a pack. But those are prolly big enough for a mini cupcake.

ok, I got these at the $tree in their wedding section 3/$1, and they are big enough for a full size cc. The icing crusts well. I just pulled my CC out of the pail just fine, but I was thinking someone could use a fork to eat out of eat it as well. The purple icing doesn't help the look but it was the idea is just burning in my brain during wedding season... so I have to post some flyers... also I live in pageant central and there are always tables set up for the girls competing with cookies and stuff, so I think these would be great... If I were artistic enough to personalize the tins with school colors other than ribbons, I could probably make mad money.

I like those! Around here they'd probably go for closer to $4-$5. BTW, maybe because my favorite color is purple, I really like the purple icing (the look of it).

Those are really cute. I think they'd be especially great for a wedding shower! You have your table decoration and dessert too!

Gotcha!! again it's a great idea!!
I too like how it looks with the purple color. Not my favorite color.
But in this case it looks great, it stands out, makes it pop.
great for any type of showers!

yeah my thought too, but you also have the cake to compete with... but then again, my thought was it was a take home edible favor, you know you could put a snazy little bridy and groom tag on the handle... works for me, I will just have to see how well it does or doesn't do when I market it I suppose :_)

Very cute--love the idea. I think they'll go over really well--and I agree with the $2-2.50 price range.
