MMF is marshmallow fondant (instructions are in the recipe section).

Crumb coat is a thin coating applied to the cake before icing / fondant to hold in the crumbs. Simply thin your frosting a bit and apply.

MMF is marshmallow fondant.

Crumbcoat is a thin layer of icing used on the cake to seal in cake crumbs. It is done before the final coat of icing is applied. Use a thinner consistency of your regular icing to do the crumbcoat.

From one newbie to another, welcome to this site. I have learned so much from here. I am a self-taught cake decorating 'enthusiast'. Don't get discouraged like I did if you try the MMF. It took me at least 3 tries to get the consistency correct enough to even do anything with it.
