This was for my daughtr's 11th birthday. She loved it! It was fun but very, very, very time consuming.
I made all the fondant (MMF). Bottom cake was strawberry. Top cakes was choc.fudge. Filled and iced w/ buttercream.

Which cake did you spend the most time on?

I can see why it took so long! Great cake. Love all the little details. Very girly! She must have been thrilled! Dunno which one of mine took the most time, but I do remember my lightnin' mcqueen cake was very tedious (sp?)!

So Cute! icon_biggrin.gif I love the letters and all the details like the girls, the cell phone, flowers, lipstick and crown. You did great!!

My longes time is a toss up between my Alice in wonderland (13 hours) and the Wedding cupcake tower. With that one I couldn't really say how long because the roses, buds and petals were made from gumpaste ahead of time (done at different times and saved) and then the baking of ALL those cupcakes. I'm getting tired just thinking about it icon_wink.gif LOL

Great Cake I know when I was that age I would have loved a cake like that!!!!

Right now I would have to say that the cake that took me the longest would be the ladybug first birthday cake. It had 40 gumpaste dasies, 20 bees, and 12 butterflies. I just loved it!!!

Again great work

Wow! That is a great cake! I love all of the fondant details.

I'd have to say that my most time-consuming cake so far was my fall basket, between about a zillion RI flowers and the basketweave.

Your cake looks great. It does look like it took a lot of work but looks well worth it. I'm still very new at this and I have only done a couple of cakes but my most time consuming was my gift box cake. I was happy with it and my mom loved it (it was for her 51 b-day).

I think that cake was well worth the amount of hours you spent on it and I know my daughter would just love that cake!!!

I think my most time consuming cake was probably the wedding couple cake but it was well worth it too!
