My First Wedding Cake

Hello all,
Just want to share a cake I made two weeks ago. Bottom is dark chocolate, top is yellow, both covered with marshmallow fondant. Roses are royal icing, pearls are fondant covered with super pearl dust.

great job! I have a wedding cake to do in a few weeks that requires a crap load of pearls! I hope mine come out as good as yours!

Absolutely lovely! Did you hand roll the pearls or use a bead mold?

I did not use a bead mold because since it was my first wedding cake I was not sure if I wanted to buy a mold, maybe in the future if I have more orders. icon_smile.gif
Instead I used the bottom of a large tip to cut the fondant.
