maybe have a record player with the headphones lying beside, a microphone etc... set up to look like what would be their workbench if you know what i mean... cup of coffee etc...

I like the idea of a really old fashioned radio and microphone... but I like that early Americana stuff.

How about the cake is the 'desktop' with some papers on it, a cup of coffee, the mike and a headset. Or maybe even 'a studio':

hey cool you read my mind... that pic is what i was trying think of... i could see in my mind but didnt know how to explain it good one sugar plum fairy... i think that is a cool idea vonvon heheh good luck let us know what you end up doing...

Hi , i did a cake for a birthday and i did a sheet cake with a fondant microphone with the cord and music notes coming out of a old fashioned radio got rave reviews on it i
