I was reading a Forum topic one day last week about how bad Sugarcraft had treated them during a business transaction they had conducted with them. They sent them very (imo) nasty and unprofessional emails.
So.....I sent them an email letting them know that I would not be doing any of my business with them and that I would let everybody know how they are....so here are the emails!

wow! well, i am locking them now from now on...i would not even look at their website... ![]()
Omg.
How rude! I cannot believe they sent an email to you like that! They shoud be reported to the BBB. Unbelievable! That is NO way to conduct any business. How unprofessional!
I have ordered from them before..
I was not totally unhappy, although i was not also very happy with how the order was handled, but I would still order from them.
I got my item on a timely manner. And that's ok. I've dealt with other ones that are worst than Sugarcraft. I have not read the previous post either.
I have ordered from Sugarcraft since early 2005. I was pleased with shipping. However, over the last 6 months when I order.....I have received cake boxes that were torn up and dirty and could not be used. I have received bottles of flavorings that were leaky and over all packaging of the product was very sloppy. Maybe they have someone new doing the packing and shipping. I agree their customer service could use some training on phone skills and etiquette
I went to Kings Island in Ohio in July, Sugarcraft is only 15 minutes from there so I went to the store. Their customer service is no better in the actual store. They are very unfriendly and I hated to even ask for help because of the attitudes that they projected. I was really looking forward to going to the store, but was very uneasy while I was shopping.
I've only had one problem with Sugarcraft. It wasn't entirely their fault..I only blame them for the customer service issues. I did not receive a $50 order of Fondant, when I questioned them they sent me a rude response about how it was my problem because they received a delivery notification. I fully believe that the post office lost my order, but they didn't have to be so rude when all I was doing was trying to find out where the problem was.
I, for one have been ordering from them for a couple of years now, and have NEVER had a problem...... What I CAN'T believe, is that you would, # 1 ... write to SugarCraft, or anyone else to complain about SOMEONE ELSES, order....... and #2, that you would have the nerve to try to blackball a company because of something that was no doubt a misunderstanding that got out of hand from the get-go......... ![]()
I can't even believe they would respond like that. I have never ordered from them but certainly won't in the future. Seriously, I am shocked by their lack of professionalism and customer service. Maybe they think 'no publicity is bad publicity.
thanks for keeping us in the loop.
Ummmm.....ok. ![]()

I am GLAD to have someone actually take the initiative to find out for themselves how good or bad a company's customer service may or may not be.
I'm also GLAD to have that someone post their personal experiences with said company, either positive or negative. Very few people would have such "fortitude" in doing so! (Believe me--I see all kinds.)
I'm sure, however that they'll come along and lock up this forum, just like they did with the forum in question before this one. Leads to flaming and such, I reckon. Whatever.
Everyone here at CC is very helpful, and kind. That includes the staff and all of us addicts! ![]()
I personally won't be buying anything from them, because if they acted like that with me--I'd probably do more than just post their rude responses, and discuss them on-line.

but its not your place to bad mouth sugarcraft...its not your experience. the lady who had the bad experience is the one to badmouth them.
ConnieB wasn't "badmouthing" Sugarcraft. She was simply relating her experience.
Others replied in kind--whether they had had either positives or negatives with the company.
Some of us stated our opinions. I stated mine. There was no "badmouthing" on my part either--just a stated opinion.

I've ordered from the several times and i've never had a problem (i hope i'm not jinxing myself!) When I've had questions about a product they've always been very friendly and helpful.
I'm sorry so many people have had problems with them. I agree it sounds that that person was treated very unprofessionally and rudely and thank them for letting us know but I do however believe that it is only that persons place to deal with them about that problem.

knox, i agree with your opinion in your first post...i think it's time to lock this thread.. ![]()
"I'm also GLAD to have that someone post their personal experiences with said company, either positive or negative. Very few people would have such "fortitude" in doing so! (Believe me--I see all kinds.) "
That would be all well and good IF it had been HER PERSONAL experience..... She got this "NEWS" from a FORUM, and decided it was HER duty to inform the world that SugarCraft was a TERRIBLE company..... THAT is NOT RIGHT !!

i totally agree with you. it was not her place to do that.

I See CC as a support group of friends. If I have a problem in a store or a restaurant I would definitively tell my friend so #1 they don't have a hard time with them (Like I did) #2 they don't sponsor unprofessional businesses and #3 Sugarcraft understands that treating bad a customer will have ALWAYS bad consequences. There is NO reason to mistreat a customer even if it is the customer's faults (which in this case it wasn't). There is always a nice way to deal with a customer and make their shopping experience a welcoming one.
I think this is a great way of supporting each other. Thank you guys for this information!

customer service is something that any company should know how to do....sugarcraft may have been rude to whom ever....i dont know...i wasnt there.....but if they were rude to the customer thats not good...but its THAT customers place to say what they want about them...not the author of this thread. she should not have gotten ivolved and written to sugar craft on anyones behalf....its not her fight.
i have shopped with sugarcraft once and only once because it was too much of a hassle. thats why i will shop elsewhere...
but all i am saying is that you can only respond to a company if something happend directly to you...i think thats what a few other members are saying too.

Sounds like grama_j might be working for Sugarcraft. ![]()
Seriously, though, I've never ordered from them, but I've heard enough complaints to steer me away from them. There are too many good sites out there for me to be pulling my hair out with one that has lousy customer service.
