i've seen many images of 3d figures, like babies, animals, etc. i was just wondering how everybody makes theirs...is it simply by hand or molds, or what?? i want to do some animals, but i am not very artistic when it comes to that. icon_confused.gif

I find that a picture is a pretty important thing for me to have. Even if its not exactly what I want, I will use one to give me a visual starting point. Then, it helps to really break down into pieces whatever you are about to make. Start with just the shape of the head. Work on the face and then hair and move down to the body, arms and legs (just for an example). I dont consider myself very artistic but breaking it down into steps helped me dramatically with the outcomes of my pieces.

Here is a link to a tutorial anne2 did for faces. She also sells tutorials on her site. CC members have said the tutorials they bought from here were very informative=) Jen
