So I did a cake for a co-workers daughter who was throwing a baby shower at work. She just called me up and asked for a receipt. Do I type up one or just write one out from those generic staples ones? Also, I do this out of my house, can this back fire on me?
Thank you.
It could, but it may be that the office is going to pay for it, and for her to receive the money, the company just needs a receipt.
I had to ask for receipts alot at the office just so we could show it in the books. Never did anything with the receipts it was just for audit purposes.

There is a mnor chance, depending on where your co-worker is from, that she is asking for the recipe. Receipt = recipe in some areas.
