Hi there! I really want to practice my sculpting, and since chocolate clay i my favorite medium right now I was thinking about making a batch to let it sit overnight. But here's the thing- I don't really want to waste an entire batch just to practice and it would be nice to save things if I like how they turn out. So how long does this stuff last? Realistically, would it have to be used within a week, a month, ?

TIA

It lasts longer than a Twinkie...just kidding. It lasts, well wrapped for a very long time. It is much like a tootsie roll. It will harden, but you can warm it SLIGHTLY in the microwave and knead it back to life.

However, it you have dry crumbly exterior, it is pretty much lost, so wrap it well and seal it in something airtight.

Oh how wonderful, thank you so much! I'm so excited, I keep finding gorgeous cakes on here and I want to practice so I can make cakes as beautiful as them!
