I have a cake that I am going to decorate in the morning. It is going to have a lot of different colors. To help save time in the morning would it be to early to fill my bags with all the different colors and store them in a ziplock bag over night?

Thanks......

I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. icon_smile.gif

with a lot of cake orders every week, i put them in ziplock bags and put it in the freezer all the time. it doesn't take that long to thaw either.

If its buttercream I would go ahead and do that. If royal icing, I will wait until the morning - I find that I always have to rebeat royal icing just before use if made the previous day.

Definitely do it! Then you can get right down to decorating in the a.m.
