I have a newbie question...I found the recipe for Cheesecake Mousse in the fillings sections, my question is once I have completed the cake, filling and all, does the cake need to be placed in the refridgerator? The recipe calls only for pudding and heavy cream. and the cake is going to be covered in MMF. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Yes.. you'd have to refrigerate that filling. If you don't it could spoil. Not to say it can't be out for a while when serving but I wouldn't Leave it out overnight. icon_smile.gif HTH's

I've been wanting to ask a question related to this topic....If a cake's filling requires refrigeration but is covered in fondant then what do you do? I was under the impression that fondant could never be refridgerated....is that true?
