I made a chocolate cake and want white icing. Any suggestions on how to keep the chocolate from showing through? icon_smile.gif

Use a good crumb coat and a generous layer of icing, the chocolate will not show through

Two words... crumb coat.

Put a thin layer of icing over your cake. You should still be able to see the cake through this layer. This will seal the crumbs in so they don't mix with your final layer of icing. Put the cake in the fridge for about a half hour to let the crumb coat set, then ice as you regularly would. This should prevent any crumbs from coming through.
