Help How Long To Bake And How Much Icing For 11X15?

Okay I just started the Wilton Classes this week
and being excited and overly ambitious I have decided to make my daughters birthday cake...tonight. The cake is 11x15, 2 inches deep. I have been hooked on this site since I happened on it and though I have read that I need to use the flower nails to help it bake evenly, I don't know how long to bake it for...I would like for it to be 2 layers and the design goal is to have it look like a movie clapboard, ya know the black and white board the use for each take. I thought I could handle the decorating since it is basically straight lines and words, but I'm also not sure how much icing to make(chocolate butter cream). Any suggestions??Please ...

I just did a 10x10x2 using the white almond sour cream recipe and it took 65 minutes to bake at 325. Don't be surprised if you have to bake for a longer time. I started at 30 minutes and had to keep adding time to get it done.
thanks everyone...it's in the oven as we speak.
I made an 11 x 15 chocolate cake recently, using two cake mixes in the pan. I put one flower nail in the middle. I baked at 325 degrees for about 40 to 45 minutes. Turned out fine. I made a second one same way with the same results. The cakes were about two inches high and I didn't even have to level them.
i have a recipe that i bake from scratch and i just made an 11x15 last night. the recipe requires baking at 400 degrees for 20minutes. I also use 1 flower nail in the middle and it bakes like a charm. the other day i read on here that some people use a dish cloth to flatten their cakes when they come out the oven instead of leveling i did that as well and presto a nice flat cake baked to perfection in 20 minutes
I bake 11x15s all the time. I use two cake mixes (I prefer Pillsbury). I bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. I set the bell for 25 and check often from there. I use bake even strips always too.
