Does it take alot of coloring to color fondant? I am going to do the easy Marshmallow recipe not sure if this matters. I know it says to use paste color but will it take alot? Thanks in advance.

I made it for the first time Sunday. I used very little color and kneaded it in. wrapped it and left it alone. the next day it was much bolder and brighter in color. I just kneaded it again and it seemed just right.

Add the color with the liquid, it is much easier than kneading it in and it will be blended better. You need the fluff to be almost as dark as you want the final color to be. The powdered sugar will lighten it some. it may also darken a bit while it ages.

It usually doesn't take much color paste, unless you are looking for a very dark color.
